Professional Development for Freelance Cultural Practitioners & Artists: Bridging the Distance

Curious Minds is delighted to invite applications for Bridging the Distance, a new two-day professional development programme designed to enhance creative interactions between early years children and older people in intergenerational spaces.

Up to 12 paid places are available on this programme for freelance cultural practitioners and artists based in the North West. Successful applicants will be expected to attend two face-to-face training workshops, on 21st June and 5th July 2022, and to complete a simple inter-sessional action-learning task. In return, a bursary of £450 will be paid.

Bridging the Distance is a new and dynamic collaboration between Curious Minds and the intergenerational charity, Ready Generations. If you are new to intergenerational projects or aspiring to understand more in order to expand the reach of your work then this two-day programme is for you.

To apply, complete our online Expression of Interest form. The deadline for submitting applications is midnight on Tuesday 7th June 2022. We aim to communicate with all applicants to advise of the outcome of their application by Friday 10th June 2022.
